Apple blossoms in the bog

Apple blossoms in the bog

This tree is glad to be alive. Water logged bog-land on a wind-exposed hillside has never been prescribed for orchard produce. But year after year this tree stays alive and produces a handful of blossoms. We celebrate the blossoms, and even the tiny inedible apples that come after the blossoms. The beauty of resilience.
